Champion Trading LLC is a long/short algorithmic trading fund focused on the soybean complex and grain markets, actively trading ZS, ZL, ZM, and ZC futures. Trading positions are executed with intraday bias to minimize risk and capture market inefficiencies.

Our algorithm ingests massive volumes of data from global real-time crop yield models to high-frequency exchange order flow data across futures, options, and spreads. Multiple compute servers run over 20+ stages of live pipeline data to continuously analyze and execute positions with precision timing for the fund.

Champion Trading LLC is a private commodity pool limited to 15 participants with a maximum capital commitment of $400,000, operating under CFTC Regulation 4.13(a)(2). Taxation is passed through at a 60/40 long-term/short-term structure. Disclosure documents are required prior to participation. A payment link is provided upon completion of documentation.

Roy Hale started his career founding GrainEdge LLC after attending the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities for economics and finance and working as an analyst at StoneX, where he built direct experience in agricultural commodity markets and commercial hedging.

GrainEdge LLC, founded in June 2021, was an agricultural consulting firm providing daily forecasts and analysis across futures and cash grain markets. The firm served clients across major trading houses, elevators, and commodity funds both domestically and internationally, with a focus on the corn and soybean complex.

With over 7 years of near-continuous daily market forecasting and trading experience, Roy launched Champion Trading LLC's algorithmic trading fund in December 2024 to apply systematic, data-driven strategies to the agricultural markets he has covered throughout his career.
